National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)

Team INODE performed a Security Assessment of the NIDCD General Security System which comprises a 30% assessment of the system controls per NIH requirements. INODE:

Created a Security Assessment Plan (SAP) and obtained approval prior to beginning the assessment

Reviewed all policies and procesures related to the controls identified

Conducted stakeholder interviews related to the control such as systems administrators, the ISSO, database engineers, etc. to create a detailed understanding of day-to-day interactions related to the control

Gathered evidence as related to the controls as well as cands to all NIDCD GSS systems per NIH requirements

Deliverables: Risk Assessment Report (RAR) and Security Assessment Report (SAR); included recommendations, write-ups of all findings, evidence gathered, and the overall security posture of the system

Air Force Internet Control (AFINC III)

USAF 26 Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS)
